Assessments

ADHD screening and diagnostic assessments

Autism Assessments (ADOS-2 and ADI-R)

Child Cognitive and IQ Assessment (WISC-V + ABAS)

ADHD Assessments

At NeuroBalance Psychology, we use a range of evidence-based assessment tools

to evaluate ADHD and related behavioural concerns. By gathering information from

multiple sources and using validated measures, we aim to develop a clear and

accurate understanding of each individual’s profile. Our assessment process is

thorough and tailored, allowing us to provide personalised recommendations that

support each client’s unique strengths and needs.

Autism Spectrum Assessment

Our autism assessments are designed to determine whether an individual meets

criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder. They are also suitable for individuals with an

existing diagnosis who require an updated assessment to support school planning,

NDIS applications, or review processes.

The assessment process involves gathering comprehensive information about an

individual’s social communication, emotional development, interests, behaviours,

and daily functioning. This allows for a thorough understanding of each person’s

unique profile.

Following the assessment, personalised recommendations are provided to support

the individual across home, school, or workplace environments. These

recommendations are tailored to ensure that each client’s strengths and support

needs are meaningfully addressed.

Parenting Supporting

At NeuroBalance Psychology, we offer parenting support sessions to help caregivers

feel more confident and supported in responding to their child’s needs.

Parenting can be challenging, particularly when navigating emotional, behavioural, or

developmental concerns. Whether you are managing your child’s meltdowns,

supporting school attendance when your child is refusing, or seeking to better

understand your neurodiverse child and implement effective supports at home, we

are here to help.

Our sessions focus on building practical strategies, increasing understanding of your

child’s behaviour, and strengthening the parent–child relationship. We work

collaboratively with parents to develop approaches that are tailored to their child’s

unique profile and family environment.
